Best Buddies Friendship Walk

We had a great time at the walk and beautiful weather, too!

Gabriel's buddy, Alli, did such a great job with my students and walked with them the whole time!  
 

I HAVE THE BEST TEAM!!

Seriously. My assistants are the best! I couldn't ask for two harder working and easy to get along with ladies. Jill and Denise are my rock. They make me laugh and keep me sane if I am stressed out. We work well together and are on common ground, which benefits everyone in the classroom. I love being able to take a few students out to the grocery store and feel comfortable leaving knowing my students are in good hands. THANK YOU Jill and Denise. You guys are awesome! :)

Our Best Buddies club attending the Hoops for Hope staff vs. student basketball game to support Relay for Life. During half-time, the buddies shot hoops on the court while the peer members held up signs up and cheered them on. Here are some action shots of some members!

Today our PE teacher, Mrs. Comer, brought the students outside to walk the track. Emily and Jorge both participate in a general education PE class. Mrs. comer sent me these lovely pictures of Emily and Jorge playing tennis in their class. :)
